Basic Paint Kits--
Toddler Basic Paint Kit - $30
Preschooler Basic Paint Kit - $30
School-Age Basic Paint Kit - $40
Multi-Child/Multi-Age Basic Paint Kit -
$55
These kits are designed to give
your child the basic supplies for a creative painting experience.
They are stocked with enough supplies to last for quite awhile...
depending on the child and how prolific they are with their art,
of course.
Kits contain different amounts/types of the following items,
depending on the kit: |
|
Fingerpaint Paper:

This paper is great for everything, not just finger-painting. This
is my choice of paper for most any painting projects, especially
easel painting because it is very large. Also great to use for
making homemade wrapping paper! |
Divided Paint Cups:

(brushes not included)
These are the coolest paint cups!
They are divided so that you have 2 colors per cup...plus its
clear w/white lids, so there's never the issue of having a paint
color that doesn't have a matching cup & lid. |

Rollers
|
(examples only...the actual
tools you receive can be different)
I like kids to have a variety of different tools to explore the
different ways to paint. So I include various different items such
as rollers, bumpy balls, stampers, puff balls, and other
interesting things. The actual items will vary from time to time,
depending on what I'm able to get my hands on and my mood. I
always try to pick appropriate tools for the right ages though. So
toddlers will have much larger paint tools and brushes than the
older kids, do to their abilities. |
|
Easel Brushes:

I prefer to use non-colored brushes because then there's no paint
to peel off when I inevitably forget and leave a brush soaking in
water overnight...and also because I hate not having the right
colored brush for the right colored paint. Using a neutral color
for all colors makes it so you don't run into the problem of
confusing the kids because the red is with the red, and the blue
with the blue, but there's a yellow brush in the orange and a
green in the purple. LOL |
|
Washable Tempera Paint:
(not shown)
Despite being "washable", no paint is
ever 100% washable. So keep this in mind when your child is
painting...its still a good idea to use old clothes or strip them
down naked or put an old grownup t-shirt over their clothes when
they are painting. This paint is awesome! We use it all the time
and the thing I love about it is that it dries BRIGHT and a little
shiney. You'll love it! |
Paint Bowls
(not shown):
The bowls are for using with the
paint tools and will vary depending on what I am able to get a
hold of at different times. They will always be plastic and
reusable and probably white (my preference, as stated above about
the paint brushes and paint cups.) |
